Ok for a 8'x 30" x 18" vision cage what size heat poanel would you use? i only like to heat about 1/3 for basking side. Also when installed on the top inside of the cage does it emitt heat downwards making the area near the floor around 90? and how much do they usually cost please help me with these questions so I may become a better Burm owner thatnks

I don't have an answer for you (I do more learning than teaching on this forum), but I do have a comment to make. I have been keeping up with your endevors on this forum for a little while, and have noticed an improvement in your postings. Both your grammer and articulation have improved. Noticed I said improved, not perfected (Like mine is perfect.

Thought improvement deserved credit
Good Luck

I would recommend calling Bob Pound at Pro Products and give him the dimensions of your cage, type of cage, and what you are planning on putting in it (full grown male burm for example). Bob will tell you the exact size you need to adequately heat the cage. When we were planning our wildlife center I just simply gave him the dimensions of the exhibits and what types of herps were going into the exhibit and he built the panels....so far, they have been perfecto. Based on my experience using pro products, you will probably get a panel that is approximately 3' x 2'; that will probably work well but once again, talk to Bob as he is really the one you should be asking. Good luck. Rob
