Housing multiple males - Extremely bad idea
Housing Male and female - Once they reach breeding age, the female will get.... uhh mated on repeatedly, stressing her out
Housing a male and females - The male will probably get tired a lot trying to mate multiple times
Housing big guys and little guys - mmm babies
the group i have together
1m 22g
3f 45g,27g,and33g
Females gaining weight male is stayin the same
thats a group i intend to breed.
I have a male and female
m hypo tang 53g
f temper 58g
They have laid eggs and are beind incubated now
there own tank
All of mine are housed individually from the time they hatch. It makes it easier to monitor their food intake, as well as minimizing stress, and I don't have to worry about injury caused by competition for food. Also, I have never had a problem getting the males to mate, as soon as I put the female into the males cage, they get right to it......
