What temps are you keeping him at? Does he have a basking
area to get his body to 85 degrees? If he stopped eating
usually it it due to too cool temperatures.

Please post with answers.

I think it is because he is cold. He does have a basking area. How do I keep him warm? What do I need to buy to keep him warm? I'm going to go buy him some more things this weekend so I want to get a list of what I should get him. And I also wanted to know..the room where my turtle is placed, why does it smell bad? what can i do to make the oder go away?

You need to have an area where he can climb out of the water
to dry off. Put a lightbulb above this area to heat it to
85 degrees. Use a thermometer the specific wattage will be
determined by the size of your tank, etc. You should also
buy a UVB source. The Reptisun 5.0 is great. This puts out
light and UVB but no heat. Make sure your tank is set up
where the turtle can move to different area to heat up and
cool down.

As far as the room smelling, you are not keeping the water
clean. I have 4 aquatics and a tortoise in a room and mine
does not smell. I do frequent water changes and have a filter
in their pond.

You also need a water heater. If your turtle is basking and not eating, its probly cuz his water is too cold. Your water needs to be 75 F. Get a heater.
