Here is another picture of her face and tongue. Thanks

Sorry, I was trying to place both pictures on the same post. First time posting, will delete one as soon as I find out how.
Would be very interested to see them.

I agree with Kara -- a full body picture would be nice not only to help with possible ID, but also because it's always neat to see different looking bloods!
Just looking at the scalation comparison pictures, I would say that her scalation most resembles that of the Borneo. That's just from your comparison pics, however, as I'm probably one of the least knowledgeable on the subject of difficult identification
It's also possible that you have a hybrid, if the seller seemed really uncertain.

Here is a full body picture of her when she was younger. I will get another picture of how she looks now, soon...

Hey Greenman,
This animal looks to me judging by the dorsal pattern and head, like a light colored (amelanistic) black blood. It is difficult to say with certainty, but this is my obervation judging or going by the dorsal pattern and markings, which to me look or resemble more typically the markings of a black blood than that of a Borneo or Sumatran Red blood. IMO!

Sometimes on your way to your dream, you get lost and find a better way!
at first glance, it look likes a nice hupo-ish brongersmai (red blood) but the scales are telling me its borneo.
So........it could either be a freak borneo or a cross between a red and borneo (this being my guess).
if infact it is a cross.
I wouldn't breed it. as id want to keep the gene pool seperate between these 3 species...but its yours snake! so goodluck!
A pretty one nonetheless.
Also, here's a link in the meantime of a page i was building regarding the info Dave Barker has provided us on scalation. its incomplete and a little shuffled. but you get the point.
i believe a complete version of this will be up on Kara's upcomming website if she still wants it
I agree with Grant that it's a hybrid . . . I have a yellow blood X Borneo hybrid, and yours looks a bit like my male.
I will post pics of him once I think he's calm enough to be photographed.
Yours is a very cute snake; good luck with her.

She was a wild caught hatchling, so if she is a hybrid, it was done in the wild. Anything is possible in this wild crazy mixed up world...
Thanks for you comments, I guess I will just have to wait and breed her and see what I get. I will breed her to a black blood (unless I find out something else) and then breed back to see what comes next. Could be a great waste of time, or could be something really fun. I was hoping to have it written in stone as to what she really is, but sometimes I guess we have to just go with our hunches. LOL, it won't be the first time I have wasted my time if thats how it turns out. I would prefer not to cross breed if I could help it. Cool thing is, I have another year to decide.... Thanks all for your views, it's nice to see so many Bloodies in one place
Thanks everyone for your thoughts as to what this girl may be. I am really sure now that she is indeed a black blood. If you look at a post made on here dec.22,03 by jarosh I think you will see these two girls could be sisters. Thanks again.
I agree, it does look very similar to the animal you mentioned. Beautiful snake at any rate! Good luck with it!
