I have an infrared heat light i my boa cages..can i leave the light on 24 hrs a day..or can i leave it on all night??

If it is a red light, it does not seem to bother them. In fact, with terrestrial boas, photoperiod has never seemed to be of that great of an importance. They will curl up in a dark log in the wild for days sometimes. In short, yes you can leave it in. Good Luck, Buddy...........Johnson Herp

Or just "talk" to people to get your info? It seems 98% of your replies in the last week have been geared toward going against commonly accepted husbandry habits of successful keepers. Ever notice boas tend to breed with the lights off? If your saying that photoperiod is of little use because snakes will stay in a log for days on end, your very short minded. So, let me get this straight up until this point....In YOUR opinion, proving to be fact by YOUR statements of belief, NOTHING ELSE....your saying that Photo period is pointless, cycling boas is pointless, we should be able to put a boa into a cage with full spectrum lights going 24/7, in a room that receives NO seasonality, and we will be super successful just like the old timers, which you failed to mention by name....because???? And you would like us all to believe that YOU have all the answers because YOU have done a years worth of research which is superior to the combined efforts of THOUSANDS also looking for the same answers??? Praise God, thanks to all your wonderful information I will be able to breed ANYTHING following YOUR guidelines. AND...I know this to be true because you are so successful yourself....CORRECT?????
