Still Can't Figure It Out - Need Advice, Please.

I have three healthy, fat 10 month old female leos that were excellent eaters until the winter temperatures dropped. For the last month, their eating has been very sketchy at best and sometimes one of them will go over a week without eating. I have the UTH on 24/7 and it gets to 80 nights and 85 days. I've added a 50 watt red heat lamp as a heat supplement when it gets cooler. This doesn't add much - about 5-8 degrees, but can get it to around 90. I am beginning to notice a very slight weight loss in one leo, but not in the other two. They are active and social as usual - they just don't eat well. I am stumped on this one. Any Ideas as to why this is happening. Also, how about suggestions? Thanks, Rob R.

It might just be because the winter season. I'm not sure because i'm not that experienced, but i've seen other experienced people say that geckos slow down on eating during the winter. There have been alot of non-eating posts here lately due to this.

Yea, sounds like winter hibernation. Just keep the temperature warm and constant and they should snap out of it eventually

like earlier said it sounds like winter brumation. Just curious though have your leos' been deficatin normally, the refusal to deficate can be because of impaction, what kind of substrate do you have your 3 leos on?
