Hi

In my opinion I would think that you could try to breed the male at anytime, it's just the females that you would have a year deadline on.

it worked! and that drawing was awesome too- i think i should try drawing my geckoes... though i'm not very fast, i'd have to work from a photo, unless i caught them napping out in the open.
