Hey -
E-mail if you have a chance.
I just read through some old posts to get caught up - and realized that you weren't getting the geckos after all... I know that must have been a hard decision - I'm personally a softy, trying to rescue everything I can... but, it causes a lot of heartache in the end... on the flip side, there is always the chance of success...???
Anyway - that's not the reason for my post. I live in Austin, and wasn't planning on breeding my geckos - mainly because I wasn't going to breed them if I didn't already have a home set up for them (I've been looking into possible local herp societies, looking for other local gecko forums, talking to friends that might be interested, etc). I will NEVER sell any gecko baby to ANY pet store again. I've had some pretty heartbreaking experiences.... however, if there were, say, someone relatively local, willing to meet half way (in Brenham) within the next few months, I would be willing to provide a baby.
Anyway, e-mail me off-line if you are interested in at least "discussing" the possibility. The biggest drawback at this point would be the waiting. Because, it would still be three - four months.... just want to give you an option.
