frist time egg layers? (question)

i have herd that the frist 2 times leos lay eggs that there not fertile. is this true? 2 of my frist time layers layed unfertile eggs about 2 weeks a go. should i expect one more unfertile clutch before good eggs? ..........thanks....duane

It depends on the female. Some females start right off laying fertile eggs while others will lay multiple clutches of duds. My first female, laid 4 clutches of duds her first year.

Are your females housed with the male? If not, you may want to try a re-introduction in case the first breeding didn't take.
