Are the effects of over-supplementing with calcium reversible?

jacksonsrule Jan 21, 2004 10:29 AM

My Jackson's has developed a "weak tongue" due to over-supplementation with calcium. I have eliminated almost all the calcium from his diet for now, to try to help him bounce back. What are his chances of recovering the full, normal use of his tongue? Please tell me this condition is reversible!

It may be, but will take time to resolve itself. By time I mean months, not days.

Yeah, I know if it is indeed reversible it will take time. I'd just be glad to know there's hope.

how often were you supplementing...just out of curiosity

I used the Fluker's cricketfeed (8% Calcium) and the Fluker's cricket "water" that is also fortified with Calcium. Aside from that, I gave him one Herptivite/Rep-Cal dusted cricket or two a week.
