Last week I adopted two very adorable sugar gliders. For those of you that don't know what a sugar glider is ... they are like a small flying squirrel - but much friendlier. Their native habitat is Australia and Indonesia. They are noctural and love to come out and play with us in the evening after our reptiles have all gone to bed. I just thought I'd share this with everyone. They are very interesting creatures. The female carries her babies around in her pouch like a kangaroo.
This is a photo of Stitch, the male... he sure isn't camera shy!

This is Stitch's mate, Cleo. They have already had 2 babies (joeys) and will most likely have more. They can have up to 4 a year. Cleo sure loves her yogurt...

And the rest are photos of Stitch. He's quite the camera hog!

They are only about 10 inches long from nose to tip of tail, and 6 inches of that is tail.

Take care everyone!

Beautiful Dragons

Ever consider therapy Rob? Just kidding! Did you hear about the guy that lives with several adult iguanas and has legally changed his name to Henry Lizardlover? He gives his iguanas full run of the house. And he's SINGLE! Imagine that! Anyways, you'd make a good Rob Reptilian or Rob Dragon. What do ya think?
