several things actually...shedding, sex question, tank, and a couple cute pics!

Alright...the first thing I want to do here is ask about the sex of Vahz...I was looking at her...hopefully her anyway, and I was able to see the v-shape in front of her vent...I took a pic, and I can't see the pores...so I still think she's female...but I want to have the experts take a look for me! btw...once again I'm sorry for the large pic size...I tried to make them a little smaller this time though...but the pics only work with webshots if they're big enough! Oh, and I of course added the links too so you can see the pics if you don't want to wait or they don't show up!

Now then...there's that...also, the other night I caught Blinkers shedding! I got a couple pics of it (i didn't get to see too much, I went to bed before she had much of it off...) Anyway...she did still have some stuck to her tail, but was surprisingly good about letting me get it off! She's a very sweet girl! Anyway, I think it was stuck b/c she's been stressed moving back to school and didn't have a humid hide a couple days before the shed. Although I did notice that she is missing the tip of one of her toes. It's not very obvious...it's just the very tip, and it didn't look like it just happened...so I think it's been that way for a while. You can see it in the pic of her shedding where her left front foot is sort of forward...it's really hard to see though. Anyway, here's a couple pics of her shedding!

Here's a good pic of Vahz and Skissors' new tank! I'm only posting theirs because it looks good...lol They are fed mealworms so they don't eat on the sand. I have vinyl tiles so I used some gravel I had leftover from the turtles (unused or cleaned thoroughly!) as a filler under the tiles so I could use the one bag of sand I had...lol Anyway, they seem to like it! Here's a pic of it and a couple of them in it...they seem to like it!

well I guess you could try looking at their gallery directly... the link is community.webshots.com/album/109855490yPVMBE/2

It's the last 7 pics if that page will show up...

i had the 'forbidden' thing too, but that last link worked. i've got to run, but it looks like that pic of the vent is of a girl (i think).

male geckos not only have prominent preanal pores, but they also have 2 bulges at the base of their tails right after the vent.
