If you scan down on this forum you will find several posts relating to FWC. The simple answer is that while they are often passive and handleable, they can be very aggressive when feeding, or when feeling territorial. They should be removed from their cage with care as they do have venom and some people have reported reactions to it.
FWC's get big (over 9') and are solid bodied powerful snakes.
They quickly adapt to a mouse-rat diet and should be misted periodically (moisture is especially important to very young specimens.
