I forgot to mention before, i measured the snakes today and the female is 20" and the male is 24", will that pose a problem in breeding? she is over 2 yrs old as is the male, and they eat 2 fuzzies a week each.

are you sure you have them sexed right??
It isn't really a matter of length, it is a matter of mass. An adult female would weigh easily twice as much as an adult male. She should also be much longer.
Just for comparison, my adult female (who I don't consider to be huge) weighs 332 grams. My male weighs 78 grams.
It almost sounds like you have two of the same sex. The shape of the tail (particularly from the underside) is VERY different in male and female hogs.
If they are a true pair, I am not sure that a 20 inch female is big enough (but again, it is the weight that is important, not the length).

I know i have them sexed right, its just a matter of growth rate, she is about a half year younger than he and he grew fast then slowed, while she just grew at a steady rate, i can always wait till next year, its no biggie
I agree with Ghettozoo. I have 4 female westerns all 2 are over two years old. And are around 30 inches. 2 are 18months and are around 24 inches. All are between 250-350 grams. The male is over two years old and is about 20-24 inches and he weighs about about 90 grams. Female westerns should alot heavier than males and a good bit longer. Sounds like you have two of the same sex.
