I still love those orange hypos. Maybe next time I'll get lucky. Kami developed much more yellow as he aged, but still has orange throughout his body, and highlights on his head, chest, and beard. If I remember not to many from his clutch had full orange to them. He's quite ready for the ladies actually. He's bobbing away with the big boys I got here. Maybe after I breed him to Candy then the hets to Reaya I'll get some of that great orange color to come out in the hypomelanistic offspring. We'll see?? Really cool how you got the two father clutches. Get two seasons of breeding done in one.

Rob and Vickie, thanks so much for the information. I have been very skeptical of the whole reccesive hypo dragon thing. I have also been very skeptical of the "lucy" dragon. Thanks so much for providing us all with this info and helping to clarify the genetics of hypomelanism in dragons. It is great to see someone that has such experience share their knowledge with us. I have talked to Paul from sandfire about this. He convinced me that there was a line of reccesive hypo dragons. and that there is a line that is marketed as hypo that is not reccesive. Thanks to you to paul. It is nice to see corobarating evidence. Ok I am done kissing rearside now, but anyways thanks a lot, I maybe looking to get some hypo dragons later in the year.

Thanks for the nice words, glad you liked the info....Paul is a good guy, and knows what he is talking about. I always learn quite a few things from him, from our conversations.
