Hello! My first question concerns a pair of leopards I have that are both from the same carrot tail father (different moms I think, not for sure). They both have pretty orange on their tails, but are not official carrot tails. Would it be all right to breed them? If so, should some of their offspring be carrot tails?
My other question has to do with a trio I just put together. The two females are full grown adults, and are getting along fine. The male is younger, and a bit smaller (maybe 3/4 the size). He'd been in brumination before I put them together. I warmed them up separately for a couple days, then put them together. He's spending all his time on the cool side of the tank in a small hide (I'd put that hide in 'cause it's a bit too small for the girls, to give him a retreat). In your opinion, is he just not ready to be out of brumination, or could he be intimidated by the girls? Should I separate him again to see, and maybe fatten him up more before spring, then try again?
Thanks so much!
