Nighttime Heating

SnappyDragon Jan 21, 2004 06:44 PM

It is the time of the year where I have to begin thinking about nighttime heat for my beardie. What do you guys think of this idea - keep my existing heat source (globes on thermostat and timer between 8am and 9pm) and install another light socket with ceramic globe to be constantly on with a thermostat setting of 22°?

My rationale is that the enclosure is in my bedroom and I don't want light emitting heat, also the ceramic globe will only work by catching temps overnight dropping too low.

Thanks,
Snappy.
