Adam&Eve...

Thanks!

She's coming along nicely, Charlotte! I was just looking in on Eve last night, and I think it's possible that she's gravid. It sure would be nice if I could get her to produce more Adam & Eve 50/50's this year.

Hey Charlotte,
Some clarification on the German Bloodline. I had a male from the same clutch and I called it German until just recently after talking to Kevin Hanley. The parents actually came from Gordon Schuett in Arizona. I had Kevin send me pictures of the parents as I was very interested to see what they looked like. I had already seen the father in the 2003 Reptiles USA annual. I had never seen the mother though. She is unbelievable! I hope to get several babies from the same parents again this year. I just thought I would clear up the "German Bloodline" thing. I got my male from Will as well and as it turns out, he was a little confused on the origin of the parents, according to Kevin. None the less, all the babies I have seen from that clutch have been World Class! I had a female from the same clutch as your 50/50 as well, but I sold her (very stupid)! In fact, I think in the end, Will now has her back. Anyway, I just thought I would share some background information with you. I wish I had your 50/50! The pic is a close-up of the Gordon Schuett animal I had (keyword, "had" - LONG STORY!)

WOW!!!
what a beautiful carpet....

Thanks for the clarification! =)

I hope to produce awesome babies from this pair...

Matt Turner also has Jungles from Gordon Schuett, and they are of German origin. I'm not sure if Kevin's Jungles are from the same line as Matt's, but they did come from the same source. I may have assumed they were the same line, and that's where the confusion stems from. Kevin and I have recently discussed this same issue. I still don't think we are certain one way or the other, but if I was incorrect, I do apologize.

Will,
Kevin said that there had been a lot of confusion on the bloodline. I asked him about the animals from Matt Turner and he said they fell into the same "confusion." I don't know what the significance of them being "German" would mean anyway. Regardless, they are exceptional animals that produce beautiful babies. I guess you could say "Australian" bloodline as well, since at some point, the bloodline would have originated there long ago. I've never been to Germany, but I don't think they have Jungles hanging from the trees in the wild! Truthfully, it's hard to call anything a specific "bloodline." I guess the proper terminology would be "Gordon Schuett produced" animals. I hope you didn't take it as me taking a jab at you. I just thought I would help clear up the origin. I think you produce some the of nicest Jungles anywhere and I'll be buying some babies up from you this summer! Shannon said to tell you we really enjoyed meeting with you and Mary last weekend and we hope to see you again soon. Take care.

Here is a quote from www.selectiveorigins.com:

"Male German (Gordon) was produced in 1995 by Gordon Schuett of Arizona and is a product of two import, c.b. in Germany animals brought into the U.S. in the early 1990’s."

It doesn't sound like there's much confusion on Matt's part to me.
