Or am I just a weirdo? lol. When I adopted my ig, his name was Porfirio, so I shortened it to Porfi, but he is also called Feeki, Big-Guan, Porfeekins, Guaner & a few other random "nicknames." Just wondering if others were like me, haha...

Either that or I'm wierd, too. LOL

My female started off as Fred, until I found out she was female and so became Freddie. Then I nicknamed her Freddie-Girl, Freddie-Cuddlekins (she loves to be stroked, but only after 10 minutes of dominance-fighting), Bratt-Girl, Freddie-Fat-A**, and finally, Queen-B****-Of-The-Universe (when she postures and tries to be Alpha, which she does, a LOT...).

My male iguana's name started off as Wiggy, before I rescued him from the owner who called him that and I renamed him Cujo. Believe me, he came by that name honestly! He also has his own set of nicknames... Cujie, Gigglestick, Goober, Suck-A**, Crazy-Claws, and Dork. During breeding season, he is also Stud-Spunk-Monkey, Spoogie, Stud-Rocket, Stud-Muffin, Spunk-Rocket, and Sir-Spooge-A-Lot.

All of these are affectionate nicknames, of course. Except when we call them "f***ing lizard!!!"... LMAO

Let's see... My big males name is Blue, but he gets Blue boy, monkey, bad monkey, cheekies, monster, and papi. My female's name is Gold Nugget Boo Boo and she also gets brat, bluffer, and meanie girl. My smallest male was named by a friend and his name is Killer. He gets bad a**, stinky butt, muncher, and piggy. I think he thinks his real name is no no bad lizard though. lol

Your igs look so much like mine together! It's great that they get along so well. Mine are both males. And yes, count me in as a weirdo. Nemo (smaller guy) is also Freak, Lil' Ig, Spaz, Shy Guy, Stub, and Dernded Cuss (reserved for those intimate nail trimming sessions when he reminds me he has teeth sharper than nail clippers). Marnie is also Big Ig, Grumpy-Butt (for when he believes that I'll do for a food substitute since I haven't fed him in, like, 5 minutes!), Bottomless Pit, Boss, and Baby.

Hey our igs do look a lot a like together.

It's great to have igs who are so in tune with each other. To most people, all lizards look the same, but for those of us who own them, it's nearly impossible to find a look a like!

There are a lot of people that don't understand why I name (to quote) "those stupid lizards" because "they all look exactly the same. The funny thing is, is the fact that they have more personality than most people do, including the person that said the crap!

My little ig has 2 names because I named her Ed before I was told she was a girl by the vet.( I think it is still too soon to tell, but I'll go along with it for now) Now I call her Ella. I always call her Ed though, I can't help it. Ed just fits her so well. Them I have Sam ( short for sampson) My 4 year old calls him "Sam I Am" like from cat in ther hat.

His name is Bud, but I call him: Bud-bud, Budward, Guana-wana, Lizard Sklizzard, Gizzard, and after he dropped part of his tail, my parents have started calling him.... "Bud Lite."
