NYC LAWS.............PLEASE HELP

I need info on how to get permits to own and breed ball pythons in NYC......I hear tooo many stories of people having all their animals taken away I dont want to be one of those people

I suggest you look at the proposed CA for the ferrets and try to get get this through council Nothing is worse than a law that is used only when someone feels like it.

Raul,

I don't believe that the State of New York has any restrictions on exotic species that are not listed as endangered or threatened, and ball pythons are not in either catagory, so you should be fine, but check with the New York State Department of Environmental Protection (Division of Fish and Wildlife, Special License Unit, 50 Wolf Road, Albany, NY 12233) for the latest laws.

NYC is the only city in New York State that does not allow you to own any type of python. They say they are "DANGEROUS". I think I should move lol..
