so if i have 1.2 rats in each tray and with 10 -12 tubs how many can i expect to breed on a monthly bases?

If I'm doing the math right (thank god for caculators) you'd produce anywhere from 120 (10 sets with min of 6 pups per rat) to 288 (12 sets with average of 12 pups per rat). Your mileage may very.

I have a 1.2 set up and the first litter was a pathic 3 pups, the next litter that came about exactly 23 days later was a 20 (they whelped on the same day)! And again 23 days after that (today) they are due again and absolutely HUGE so I'm excited to see how many I'll get today.

Thanks I think. It's not my nail thank you. It's my husbands and it's been like that ever since he was a kid and slamed it in a car door. The doctors can do nothing to fix it.

so how long are the gravid for ?
is 4 weeks the time to remove from mum ?

They are drop em 21-24 days after getting preganant, Usually 23 (at least that is the case with mine). The pups are weaned at 4-5 weeks, although I've heard you can push it to 3 -1/2 if you're in a hurry to get them out of there, as long as they are eating solid food and drinking water.

How many snakes you feeding over there? 24 groups is a lot of rats to take care of.

now she has like 8-12 trays and 1.2 in each my thing is where do the babies go as they grow I would think they will have to be seperated because they will mass produce. Myself I have 3 trays 2 catlitter pans and 1 lab cage, How should I have this set up? I keep 1.1 or 1.2 in the lab cage and for the other 2 trays I put the babies, females in one and males in the other but it seems like I hear everone keep 1.2 in all the trays. Im feeding 2 boas and lost a couple of rat litters I think to freezing.
