FBT's aren't interested in crickets and haven't eaten in 2 weeks or more...

veronicag Jan 22, 2004 11:16 AM

Is this normal for them to do without food for this long? I'm beginning to get worried. They have fresh water (declorinated) at least once a week and the temps are around 74 - 76 degrees. They have a standard light bulb (low wattage) over their enclosure during the day. Out of the 2 FBT's that I have, one in particular has changed color. He went from bright green to a dull, darker green and some areas around his mouth and eyes looks gray. I don't know if he's sick or what. But neither one will eat.

Thanks for any help.

If they arent eating crickets try mealworms... and if your toad is getting skinny you should feed it a wax worm either 2 or 3 times a week to fatten it up.
