I am not familiar with geckos, and I need help, PLEASE! I have had a vieled chameleon for almost two years now, so I am not completely ignorant at this, BUT...let's say I inherited 3 geckos about a week ago, 2 golden and 1 bibrons. These 3 guys have been living in a 20 gallon/long aquarium for the past year. I have seperated the bibrons from the goldens. For the next few days the bibrons will be livng in a ten gallon aquarium until I can get some permanent set-ups going for these guys. BUT...I need, despeartely need some info. I guess I should state that these little guys used to belong to my best friend. I have hounded her for months about seperating them. She would not listen. She finally got tired of me hounding her and gave them to me. That isn't what I wanted, I wanted her to take care of them right. I am gonna smack her a good one one day. One of the goldens seems to have lost a few toes. I think this is because they didn't have enough moisture/humidity, therefore, he/she could not shed properly, they both (the goldens) seem to have some kind of bump on their head, kind of looks like a scab? Can't tell you much about the bibrons, haven't seen anything of him/her except for the head poking out of his/her hiding place, it will NOT come out during the day. It is eating, and pooping, but obviously does it in the middle of the night. I really want these guys to have a good, healthy, and happy life, but I am not sure how to obtain that for them.

Thanx for reading
Karen

whats your question? you did good by seperating them. Goldens are arboreal, so they need a tall cage. If the bibrons are pooing, than theyre fine...go to a vet for the scab, or put neosporin on it...

Well, my ?'s are the same for both the bibron and the goldens.

1. What to use for substrate?

2. What kind of lighting?

3. Do they like to drink from a bowl, or do they need to be misted, or both?

4. Are they nocturnal?

5. Do they need to have a bowl of calcium in the cage, or will dusting the crickets with it be enough?

6. Do they need to have a moist hide box to help them with shedding?

7. Is the bibron also arboreal?

8. How often should I offer them fruit, or should I offer it at all?

That is all for now?

Thanx!
Karen
