nice site,in all honesty, ive seen the url to this site a hundred times and never been able to view it,but now i have im glad for it and it may also have solved an age old problem with my collareds, feeding them has always been a pain in the a55,mainly because they always seem unintersted, well it seems that my night temps are the problem,as they regularly go below 70,maybe i should sort out a uth for nighttimes eh?Thanx again eve

I just put four incandescents ontop of my 55 gallon while home at lunch. All my lizards were thanking me...they had been doing the "King Of the Hill" for about three weeks trying to get the best heat spot. I have 100 watts in three and 60 in one. I need to get some nightime supplemental heat now...maybe a red light warmer...Perhaps just a heat pad.

my problem is night-time heating aswell,a couple of dilemmas have hot me with this problem
1:the substrate is deep so a uth is not a good idea
posibble solution:mount it on the wall?
2:the tank is 4x2x2,so red bulbs would have to be positioned both ends.
3:all but 1 female sleep under big rocks so only the air will be heated, the female who sleeps outwith the rocks acctually sleeps on a ledge placed about an inch from the roof,so to get decent ground temps, the top of the tank is gonna be pretty warm.
I guess ill have to mess around with different heat sources and see how it goes, the only major problem im having is eating, very sporadic, but i can put that right by hand feeding pinks.

taking pics of them because they look like sh!t right now,a little too skinny for my liking ,but the pinks are doing a great job of fattening them up again
Oh yeah and its an all-girl group for now
