My eggs have been in the cooker for about a month and the other day i notice one had a small slit in it. I thought it was about to hatch early REAL early bu the slit got bigger and bigger......but the slit didnt go all the way through it just broke the egg shell and left the thin membrain there. The slit got about a half an inch then when i woke up this morning the egg had burst! has anyone had this happen before?

That one is new to me. I’ve had a little leo create a slit in the egg but apparently it was not strong enough to make it out of the egg. Do you think it was fertile? Could you see an underdeveloped leo inside after the egg burst? Hope your other eggs fair better than this one.

High humidity will pop eggs like a balloon..... Check you humidity leves to be sure it is ok.....

The leo in the eg was a little over half developed..... It probably was the humidy while i was pouring water in I droped the bottle and dumped a bunch I tried to dy up as much as I could bu ti guess it wasn't enough....I have 2 grivid females about to lay so I will get one in the place of that one.
