Based on some helpful posts from all of you i also have some creative ways of adding ventilation. Im just trying to figure out what materials i will need. Im gonna use melamine wood can i pick that up from a lowes?...Can some1 just give me a rundown of some supplies ill need to get this thing together i dont want to forget anything?

I am building the exact cage you are talking about as i type. You will need a drill to predrill your screw holes for the melamine, vents, heat lamps, plastic track for the glass doors, glass doors, silacone, and 1 5/8 " drywall screws.
I got all my melamine from home depot for $47 The whole setup when complete will cost around $90.
Here is a pic i got from dachiu's web site that i am basing my cages off of.

I cut an 8" x 4" whole in the top back and got 2 floor vents from home depot and screwed them inside and out. I will post pics tomorrow.
