does anyone think i will need to buy a bigger light (not more wattage but the fixture it self) when i move my snakes to a 30 and a 35 from two twenty long tanks before

I would use a higher wattage with a larger dia aluminum dome - say a 10" dome. Or, you can use 2 lights, lower wattage and smaller domes. Whatever gets the right temps.
