As you can tell, I'm very excited about being a leo owner and learning as much as possible. Please excuse/forgive me for being overzealous. Anyway I'm going to my first herp expo next Saturday. There is a website, but it doesn't mention much except directions, etc. This is the All-Ohio thing and I think they have it annually. I'm not sure what to expect, how big do you think this thing will be? Can I expect supplies to be cheaper there than at a store? Such as live prey and also this thermostadt that I'm going to be needing
I'm hoping to purchase my first leo at the show. I'm not looking for a 'fru-fru morph' LOL, but one that is healthy and hopefully somewhat docile. A beginner 'pet' leo. (I don't want to get home and find a gecko and a seperate tail..eeewwww...)Do you guys think there will be a nice supply of leos? I'd just love to know what to anticipate! Also, I'm driving about 2 hours there and back, so I'm wondering about travelling in the middle of winter. Should I be prepared with heat packs/carrier box, or is that something the seller would arrange? Thanks for baring with me!
