FWC eating own Faeces

Hi my male FWC defecated this morning and then started eating his own faeces he ate quite a bit before i moved him when i moved him he got very aggresive he is normally calm even when feeding. As anyone else seen this behaviour? Is it likely to cause him any harm? How can i stop it happening again?

I imagine that if he had a mild case of internal parasites, eating it's own faeces will exacerbate the situation. As for why he did it, I have no idea.
