Hi my male FWC defecated this morning and then started eating his own faeces he ate quite a bit before i moved him when i moved him he got very aggresive he is normally calm even when feeding. As anyone else seen this behaviour? Is it likely to cause him any harm? How can i stop it happening again?

I have heard of baby snakes doing this. The theory is that they can't afford to lose all that digestive fauna so they eat it in an attempt to build up a healthy level. I don't know.
