Hi, I have just acquired a pair of Hoggs, the male is about 6 foot and the female is about 5.5 feet. The male is four and the female is five. Are they the right age to breed this year? The male had been cooled but the female hasn't. Also how long do you leave them together for breeding? They are seperate at the moment.

I think they would be fine to put together as long as they are both healthy and have good body weight. Leave them together untill he loses interest and seperate for a week. Then repeat until you are sure she's gravid. Good luck
