Hi, last week I thought I had a 1.3 but one of the "females" is now definitely a male. So I have a 2.2 in the same enclosure is this OK? My big male is 300 grams, big female 200, small male is 100 and small female is 150. Yesterday, when I went to feed them their veggies, I saw that my female had a red stuff on her head, a bite mark on the side of her neck, and in the middle of her lower back. I put neosporon on it and since she started eating I didn't remove her from the enclosure. Today when I walked into the room, the small male was spinning in circles on the female while she was lying upside down on her back. I know this is mating behavior, but then the male started excreted a red substance on the females stomach. When I took her out to check on her she had this red stuff on her vent, head, tail, and belly. the male had it on his vent and tail. Then the male started spinning on rocks and excreted the red stuff on them. What is this, is this the male's sperm? If it is on my females vent is she gravid? How can a 100 gram male breed with a 200 gram female? Why isn't the 300 gram male showing any breeding behavior if they were all brumated? Why is the small male only going after the larger female? Also, I put the small male and female in two days ago. I though the larger male bred with the female again since she started getting plump, and now she is starting to dig. How will I definitely know she is gravid? Will she continue to breed if she is gravid? Now that I know that the small guy is a male should I remove him, or just keep him in there until there are any signs of aggression. Is this good or bad, the large male is a malis, large female is a malis, small female is ornata, small male is moroccan-werneri?
