Jade's belly is starting to get big, but she's bot gravid. She just slowed down her food consumption and drinking, but she is still a pretty light color green. She seems to be getting feisty though.
Anyway, we baught an umbrella tree for her a long time ago and it was way to big and heavy to fit in her cage. So we recently cut a section of her screen cage and placed the umbrella tree on the floor beside her cage. So she can come out and go in as much as she wants. We only did this about a two weeks ago. We really enjoy having it done, and she is in the plant at least once a day. That seems to be where she goes to hide from us the best. She hates us, alot. This morning I went to go and check on her and I couldn't find her anywhere. She was down behind all the branches in the dirt digging. Well, I didn't see her 'dig' but her feet were all dirty and the roots and soil are all broken and disturbed. And she was looking at me all funny, but when I found her, she went back inside of her cage.
She has super soil to dig in, in her cage. It's been there for awhile just incase she is more ready then we think she is.
What I am wondering is, since she already went down and dug in the soil, will she eventually want to lay there? Is she going to get mad when I cover all the soil over tomorrow with the little rocks for aquariums.
We did not breed her, and she is about 8 monthes old. She's a veiled.
