LdyPayne your message(s) regarding the students confession was uncalled for. Maybe you missed the premise of the confession. His point was to let people know not to slip into bad habits no matter how busy their schedule maybe. However you took it to a whole different plane. You attacked the man/woman without knowing the whole story just for the sake of attacking someone.
I, myself feel that the situation with this persons beardie could have and should have been handled better, however attacking someone over something that cannot be undone is useless and stupid. You could have informed others, as this person did, not to fall into bad habits.
I can understand this person is very busy and doesn't have much time on their hands. I am not going to attack them and say they should not raise children. Grow up and start treating people the way they should be treated. One day you may find yourself on the other side of an abusive attack, such as yours.

I stated my opinion on how I felt about this guys actions according to the original post he placed here. It also annoyed me that people were so quick to cuddle him for his loss as it seemed to me he was quite negligent in his care of his dragon. Later he did explain more on how he owns all kinds of pets who he had since a very young age and understood he was foolish to let things go as far as they did with the bearded dragon. However I won't apologize for my opinion as I spoke exactly how I felt.

I also resent you and anybody else claiming I go out of my way just to get kicks out of cutting up somebody who did something remarkably stupid as I do not. I have better things to do wasting my time putting others down. I just have a personal problem with people in general who own pets of any type and treat them like [bleep] cause they either are completely clueless on how to care for their pet or just don't give a flying fig about them to ensure they have all the basic needs of life.

I may have been a bit harse on this poster phunky phish but my reaction was solely because I found his confession shocking and, so it seemed in that initial post, how poorly he took care of his pet. He has since claimed he has raised animals since he was 6 and never lost one before and truly regreted not seeking help for his beardie when he noticed it's health was failing. I do hope he completes his course and becomes a vet and stresses to all pet owners who come to him to take proper care of their pets. What better way to teach than by example and to explain tragedy than from personal experience. Nor do I hold any grudge against this guy nor do I intend to nitpick him for all eternally because of one error. So as far as I am concerned the issue is closed. So I hope all of you would just get off my back and stop trying to assume you know my motives and personality cause none of you do.

Reading up on this "Confession" i have comet o the conclusion that the kid screwed up. But to scholder him for it with choice words is kinda childish. Okay you felt like beating up, or what not, but he's going through a tough time. YOU came to a conclusion to swift on judgement. He already feels bad enough, for christ sake it was an accident. Now also look at this end, it was a learning lesson to him and everyone else. YOu think it was easy for him to post what happened, after knowoing stuff like this would come at him. Probably not, and yet you people blow ito ut of puportions and just NEED TO CHILL. We take things alittle to serious, and say stuff we shuoldn't even mention. This is a forum for information, and enjoyment. NOt hate. Please , we all hate Trolls.
