ANNOYING NOSE RUB

HELLO,

I HAVE A 15" MALE YELLOW BEARDED. WHEN I FIRST GOT HIM, FOR A WHILE HE KEPT RUBBING HIS NOSE AGAINST THE SCREEN TOP OF HIS TANK. FROM THE RUBBING, THE TIP OF HIS SNOUT GOT DISCOLORED. NOW HE NO LONGER RUBS AGAINST THE SCREEN TOP.
WHAT I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IS, WILL HIS YELLOW COLOR COME BACK TO HIS NOSE AREA OR IS THAT DISCOLORATION GOING TO BE PERMANENT.
