It seems the info i can gather it has great ratios as a food item, and is nutritious.Lately i've been giving a little bit at every feeding on the side with his veggie salad and he loves it.I wouldn't go overboard or make it a main diet item but it seems if available, makes a nice addition to the balanced salad.

When i had more live cacti and succulents in his enclosure he was always taking a bite here and there of them, and he's still around and as happy and healthy looking as always.I suspect they eat a fair amount in the wild as Africa as a continent has a large % of the world's succulents and my uro has never seemed too hesitant to see them as a snack item lol.Not that it makes it right, but just that it makes sense in my opinion.
