Typically how long does it take for an adult leo from the time it starts to dull till it actually sheds? Also is a lack or loss of appetite common throughout this time?

I noticed my ablino was dulling in the morning, and late that night she was done shedding, actually I guess it would be early the next morning, like 2 a.m. And when she gets ready to shed, she doesn't eat as much as normal, I have noticed this, and people have told me that it is okay.
