Looking for yet another Tegu!! Red this time, anyone know of a good supplier?

tegulizards Jan 23, 2004 03:24 PM

I am looking for someone to buy a red tegu from. I have been searching for awhile now, but everyone seems to be out, or has no background. Anyone know of any breeders that might have a red that they want to sell? Please hlep me find my newest baby.

They are knowlegeable, clean, and healthy animals and always available with follow up help. We have purchased one of our 2 Tegus from them (plus a BRB and several corns) and have always liked the service, great prices, and quality. There is a link at the top of this forum, (LLLReptile.com) and they ship nationwide. They're excellent.

Ok, thank you for that link. I know of LLL Reptile. What I am after is another breeder of reds. I guess that was my bad. I made the mistake of putting Supplier in the post.
I am in Northern FL. I have been to Bert Langerwerf and hand picked my B&W's, and am looking to do the same for my red or at least find one somewhere close enough that the poor lizard doesnt have to travel across the country to get here.

I know I am picky about my lizards, but I am going to have this guy/girl a long time and I want him/her to be perfect and have every chance I never did *sniff sniff*

LOL

Bennett- The reds arrived today and they are GREAT! Wagner was very pleased. I can't wait for him to send me mine. Your adult males are incredible! What are the statistics on them ie length and weight? It was a pleasure doing buisness with you. To all you Tegu people out there...Bennett is SUPER!! Lynn DeVries

Tried and was told " I only produce 4-6 clutches of them a year , all born in June and July and all sold out within a month of hatching."

Kinda makes it hard to find them this time of year. Beardie should be emailing me soon, I plan to buy some from his stock this July. I think I will try to get a male from him and a few females of unrelated bloodlines and see what happens.... if anything.

Thanks to all that replied. You were all helpful!
