I would ditch the neosporin...I always found wounds heal quicker when left dry. You would be amazed what kinds of damage reptiles can recover from. I have had cat injuries inflicted on my gex in the past also. They all survived. I honestly feel that they do not feel pain in the way we do. It is important to keep the heats up and the gecko well hydrated, I would try to offer food in a day or two.
good luck

Hi

You should offer the gecko food everyday while the tail is regenerating, that gecko has just lost it's means of storing extra food etc. in that tail and therefore will need to take food in everyday.

Assuming she is feeding crickets, leave them in there for a period of time, but when she goe's to bed, take them out so they won't mess with the tail and she can use them again the next day if there are any left for feeding.

I also think that the tail will regenerate just fine and putting an antibiotic on once is good, but then I also agree you should let it heal dry also.

Take Care, TLB
