freddy only eats 1-2 mealworms every 2-3 weeks but it is winter here and he does practiclly nothing all day and he has a godd decent size tail too. just wondering. is there any way of force feeding without losinga tail etc... Your help is greatly appreciated

Yea sounds like winter hibernation, just keep it warm and he should go back to normal

It sounds like he just has slowed down due to the weather. Geico's tank stays warm but his eating has still slowed down, I guess their internal clock just knows lol You might want to try crickets to stimulate his eating, it has helped keep the weight on Geico even though he is not eating as much, only about 2 or 3 crix every other day, but I think that's pretty normal. Just when he was younger he was growing more, and thus needed more goodies.
