I have searched the forums and understand the cloaca/vent principle, but not having the oposite to compare to I am still a bit unsure. If anyone has pics for comparrison that would be great. The one I am looking at is approx 5" carapace length, and the vent is located just beyond. I am currently suspecting female. I too will post a pic tomorrow.

Right now she's in a large rubbermaid storage tote. Still have to buy filters etc. I am debating moving her to a unused 55gal? (46x18) aquarium for a while until she out grows it,(she's only 5" CL right now). Curent diet is beef heart, smelt, night crawlers, and feeder minnows, every second or third day. Suggestions, advice and oppinions are always welcome.

I'd keep her in the tub it wide right? My is about .5-.75'' larger he is in a 150 gallon rubbermaid stock tank. One he hit 5.2'' I went again and bought he something that will last him till he was 12 ''. I'd feed it pellets as well Mine get 30 pellets of mazuri 3 times a week and ussualy have fish in there that he eats right up. I also feed 5 dusted crickets on sund or nightcrawlers, blood worms, ect. He eats variuos greens daily
