Myyyyyy gosh this little guy is nuts! This is my first Dry and i have had him for about 5 months. Well he has recently been squaring off with me when i open his enclosure. Tonight i opened his enclosure then as i was leaning to the side of him doing something else off to the side he turned towards me and basically charged me with intent to get me. The top third of his body is in strike "S" position and the other two thirds slithering towards me faster than lightning. So he starts taking off so i grab him and he whips around and starts chewing on my finger. I have never seen anything that small with as much confidence and aggression, not defensiveness but offensiveness. If he were playing football he would be sacking the q-back. Fearless... If he were an actor he would be Joe Pesci in Casino. Nuts i tell ya!!

Such behavior is entertaining from a hatchling, but no fun with an adult. Is his cage too warm (greater than low 80's) and is he fed enough (frequent moderate meals)? A hide box might help to calm him.
