I'm just wondering if there might be something wrong with mine. For a long time, I've been using it to take some OK photos, but it _ALWAYS_ uses the flash.
Anytime I try not to use the flash, the pictures come out looking blurred and discolored.
With the flash, I always get one bright spot in the middle of the photo that makes an otherwise good photo look terrible.
I've tried suggestions for better lighting by using Sun lamps and full spectrum 75 watt bulbs, and the camera still insists on using the flash. I've even tried fluorescent bulbs.
Its almost as if the light sensor isn't working correctly? The only time it doesn't use the flash is if I am outside-and in the winter, I can't take pics when its 30 degrees out.
Could anyone offer me some good suggestions on how to take good photos without the flash? Or can someone suggest a camera that will take good photos without using a flash 100% of the time and also takes good nighttime shots (again without the flash?)
thanks,
Cat
