Look for a tarsal spur on one of there back feet.
It will be there if its a male.

The boys have more coloration, as little ones and as they get older. The pic below is Roan (our male veiled) when he was about 3 monthes old. He was a little upset with us for putting him on the floor. When your cham is a little excited/pissed off do the spots form patterns or are they just everywhere?
Also, the tasal spur may be hard to reconize at a young age if you aren't sure what you are looking for. If the back feet look different from the front .... male. If they look the same .... female.

my baby has not changed colors very much at first when i recieved it in the mail it was the same color as that baby. as for feet its hind feet are thicker and i think i may see a tarsal spur but im not too sure.
also what do the colors mean, i remember reading them somewhere but cant find it. could someone tell me what the light and dark colors mean on a veiled.
9 monthes old

Don't you have any books on chams? Every book I've ever seen has a pic of a male & female veiled. The casque size alone tells you its a male. You should also be able to see tarsal spurs. Look up "tarsal spurs" at http://www.adcham.com/html/husbandry/glossary.html
