I am looking to upgrade big time on the cage size with my snapping turtle in the spring. Any good ideas on how to accomplish this considering I am in Ohio? I have a small pond outside and I looking for an indoor cage and ways to set it up.

I had to come up with something quick and cheap this fall when it started to get cold.
I also have a very narrow basement door.

I picked up a really big galvanized horse-type trough for just over a hundred bucks at the farm and fleet. Its 9 feet long, 3 feet wide.
I have it up on cinder blocks so its easier to drain and a nicer height.
Its worked out great. I did seal all the seams with silicone before filling it.
It was a really chep way to get a lot of water in the basement for my big guy.
