Whats all this bout dirt?!

Netti Jan 24, 2004 01:35 PM

Hello guys!

Some of you may remember me and Dino, used to post here a while back but have started uni, workin part time and have just moved house so haven't had much of a chance to post or read. Dino is going to be a star at my local reptile club tommorrow. I'm giving a talk there on Uros and thought I had better check in here to see if I needed to update my info - good thing I did! Whats all this about using dirt substrates?! New one on me!

Could some one please explain what and and how it works and any other info about it ASAP. Dino is finally getting a girlfriend next month after a year of searching so I may try it with her while she is quarantined away from him to compare set ups.

Any new developments in the last year I should be aware of too?!

Georgio good to see you are still here! How is Boulder doing now?

there's been a lot of info posted about it below. It's well worth the time to look through it.

I'm still working my way through, but a little background knowledge would help.

I've actually just started going through all the posts on the subject myself. Seems it's great advice (everyone who's switched has reported great changes in their Uros) from robyn at proexotics. You'll find info there as well. I'm still learning too. Seems there's also new info in these discussion with regards to humidity and ventilation.
