hi Everybody

Got two quick questions, i'm sure their dead easy but here goes.

I have two hognoses, one male, one female.
Both are around 14 inches long, and 5 and 4 years old respectively. The male feeds well, though the female occasionally turns her nose up at food. Both weight 65 and 70 grams, respectively.

Would you consider the female large enough to breed safely?

second, i may, depending on my job, be moving to Georgia in the near future, from the UK. Probably in 18 months, if it does happen.
Does anybody know if I would require a licence or anything in the way of papers? Just for my two, they're pets, not breeding stock, i'm more curious on the above than anything else.

Sounds like you have two male hogs to me. Female hogs around 16 inches should weigh well over 100 grams. 4 and 5 year old female hogs should be over 2 feet and 200 grams. I have two 18 month old females that are 2 ft and 250 grams. My male is 3 years old about 20 inches and about 90-100 grams. Females tend to be alot longer and a heck of alot heavier.
