I mentioned a month or so back I was getting a dehumidifier for Draconis' tank to drop the humidity levels down to a more manageable level after he had some recent hard tail-sheds. Initially his humidity levels were around 55 ~ 65%, and he had a problem shedding his skin properly (almost to the point where he could have lost a large part of his tail). With the dehumidifier (which is about the size of a paper-back book) tucked into the back of his tank, I have his levels down to 30 ~ 40%, and he just recently started flaking off nice, DRY, patches of skin. I'll need to compensate for the reduction in air moisture by spritzing him more, more baths a week, etc, but I think his shedding problems will finally be behind him.
