just popped a 1300gram'er and it has the habits of a female, but i noticed two small folds on each side of the cloaca, but they spread out when the cloaca did. doesnt look like a hemipenis, but im unsure.

They look like a snake that should be probed. Probing is the only way to guarantee a female is properly sexed. Don't get burned.

I hope someone answers this for me (and you!).
If I remember correctly, I've read in several different places, that popping a mature snake risks doing serious, and possibly permanent, damage to the sex organs. Is this true?
