Anyone heard of the T-Rex active UVHeat flood bulb???

I saw it on Petco.com for $70 bucks and it says it has UVB light - does anyone know if this thing actually works and if its worth buying?

They do put out UVB. There's a bulb comparison chart somewhere at www.beautifuldragons.com that has some numbers.
That being said, you can get similar lights for cheaper, I'd shop around, especially at some of the vendors here on kingsnake.

"The serpent crams itself with animal life that is often warm and vibrant, to prolong an existence in which we detect no joy and no emotion. It reveals the depth to which evolution can sink when it takes the downward path and strips animals to the irreducible minimum able to perpetuate a predatory life in its naked horror."
